ANOTHER HEAT WAVE FOR THE SUMMER OF 2010!! Who would've thought the summer of 2010 would have another heat wave! If you don't mind the heat this week has been great, sunny skies, temperatures in the ninties. With less crowds there was plenty of time in the water at Whale's Tale. In the southern part of New England Hurricane Earl will be paying a visit but we for the most part are going to be spared. So, get out of its way and head up here for Labor Day! Answer to last week's question: What mountain is named after the author of, 'The Man Without A Country?' That is 4,054' Mount Hale, named after Reverand Edward a Everett Hale. Now for this weeks question: This winter Mittersill Ski Area officially re-opens with a brand new lift serving its trails. What is the original name of the mountain Mittersill is on? Know the answer? Send me a text at 617-875-1934, or wait until I post the answer on Wednesday. See you here soon! John L. Saunders . |
